Ok, so since last night there’s been pictures of Anushka Sharma’s Wedding, Mehndi & Engagement, and it’s literally got everyone talking about it.
Who is she? Well she’s a well known Bollywood actress, who rose to fame doing a movie with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and many other hit films after. She married the well known cricket player Virat Kohli after being in an on and off relationship with him since 2013. (Ha, I did my homework guys, I’m not a stalker.)
So, Move over Prince Harry & Meghan Markle, it’s all about #Virushka. 😉
All her outfits were designed by the one and only Sabyasachi Mukherjee. If you look at his Instagram @sabyasachiofficial you’ll know how unique and amazing his styles are.
Sabyasachi has the signature look with his brides wearing a lengha with two dupattas, one on the head and one draped diagonally over the shoulder, accessorised with statement headpieces, earrings and necklaces.
Anushka Sharma’s looked stunning from her engagement pictures, all the way to her wedding. For her engagement she wore a Sabyashachi maroon velvet Saree. With hand embroidered pearls on the border and throughout the Saree. She paired it with a statement diamond and pearl necklace with some studs. It really looked so elegant and glam.
For her Mehndi look she had very minimal makeup and jewellery, Anushka only wore statement earrings and went with a very bold boho style outfit. The colour combination went well with simplicity of her hair and makeup. It made a statement and it really complimented her.
This is the picture that had everyone in awe. It set such fairy tale vibes and set me in the mood for my wedding. Seriously, this is what I’d look for, for inspiration. The colour combination, the jewellery, the floral décor and atmosphere just set it all off. What a dream wedding.😍
a baby pink lengha, with a vintage floral border on the dupatta and the top and skirt was detailed throughout the whole lengha. The natural and light make up completed the whole look and made the whole focus go on Anushka from head to toe. She looked completely happy, stunning and content.
This is definitely what everyone’s gonna be looking for inspiration from now all the way up to 2018 Spring. It was jaw dropping and beautiful. The colours, the makeup, and the jewellery were all pieced so well together. Literally, I loved it.😍
Thanks for reading my blog, I definitely went for a different topic today. If you enjoyed reading this, then stay tuned for more I got coming my way. 😉
